Will Call Info

If you have won tickets that are to be held at will call, please put this number in your cell phone. We don't expect any problems, but if any come up, call 262.515.WIIL (9445). This number is to be used in an emergency only. If you have an issue that is not an emergency, please call 800.760.1295.

A little inside baseball for you...we send the list to the venue/promoter the day of the show. We don't know what seats the tickets are for when we have a will call list. The venue/promoter then takes the list to the will call window. The day of the show, sometimes up to an hour before show time, the will call window should have the will call list. Find the window, tell them you are on the '95 WIIL ROCK list' or the 'WIIL radio list'. Flash an ID and they'll hand over your tickets.

MARKETING CONSULTANT

General hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (some evening/weekends)

Education: College Degree Preferred

Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven sales success preferred. Self-starter with sense of urgency. Organized, attentive to detail, can handle multiple tasks with prompt follow-through to customers and company. Creative, customer-focused, asks key questions; listens and responds accordingly. Results oriented. Honesty, ethics and integrity are of paramount importance. Ability to interact and influence others in a positive manner while learning and working in a fast-paced, successful team environment.

Experience: Prior radio sales experience preferred, sales of other media or other products/services will be considered.

Duties:

• Minimum of 3 set appointments per day

• Prospecting

• Maintains a minimum of 50 accounts each month

• Maintains complete files for each client

• Has an average of 15 accounts on the air each month

• Collects receivables before they exceed 90 days

• Performs client needs through situation analysis

• Develops written proposals and marketing plans for clients

• Understands basic programming goals

• Acknowledges and accepts accountability in attainment of stations budget goals

INTERNSHIPS

95 WIIL ROCK/AM 1050 WLIP is seeking student intern(s) for the Programming & Promotions Departments. This will be a great experience for students interested in the radio industry.

You must be at least 18 years old to apply for internships. You MUST be enrolled full-time in a college or university program for the specific purpose of gaining a degree. Please send a letter from the college you are attending certifying that you are getting credit for the internship. Internships are unpaid, and interns must receive academic credit for the work performed at the station. Interns must be able to commute to station during the scheduled hours required during the internship.

Interns will work at on-site events/remotes, which includes the set-up and breakdown of the promotional 'booth' and equipment. Office duties include calling winners, filing, faxing, and setting up and maintaining web site contesting. Must be able to work with the public and have a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. Interns must be outgoing, personable, and have strong customer service and follow through skills. Computer Skills a PLUS!!

Interested candidates with majors in communication, broadcasting, journalism, marketing, design, video & audio editing, business and related fields of study may apply.
